Based on the British Nursery Rhyme, this play follows a two best friends as they explore the meaning of this poem. The pair will move between scenes with different types of weather-sunny, windy, rainy, snowy, etc. discovering what makes each type of weather unique and confirming the strength of their friendship. Because “Whether the weather be fine or whether the weather be not”, those we love and who love us are always by our side. This play is by Bethany Lynn Corey and approximately 40 minutes in length. Intended for ages 18 months-4 years.
Why did the chicken cross the road? To get to story time at the library, of course! The children like the chicken, the chicken likes the children, and everyone loves story time. So it’s no surprise that more children (and more chickens!) get in on the fun until there are more kids and critters than the librarian knows what to do with. Luckily, she comes up with a creative solution and manages to find little R & R for herself. Intended for children ages 2-4. By Sandy Asher, based upon her award-winning book
Dog is tired of his current job, being Dog. He decides to try out many popular professions. What would it be like to be a fireman? Or maybe a policeman? Being a Doctor might be fun, too! But then who would be the family dog? This new participation drama by Bethany Lynn Corey asks Pollyanna’s youngest audience members to play along with Dog as he learns all about the helpers found in his neighborhood. Intended for children ages 2-4. By Bethany Lynn Corey
