Creative Drama Class
This fun introduction to theatre for youth includes stories, games, art, movement, and music. Students will use their voice, body, and imagination to explore characters and create stories while working together and developing self confidence. Many classic treasures of Children's LIterature will be used in this class such as books by Dr. Seuss, Mo Willems, and Shel Silverstein.
 
For children ages 5-7
Friday mornings, 9:45 a.m. - 11:00 a.m.
12 week session:  September 14 - December 7, 2018 (no class on Nov. 23)

Create a Play Class: Make a Play - Stories of the Seasons
Each season brings something to celebrate! Students will create scenes and short plays based on their favorite holiday stories. The class will choose from all types of holiday related stories, myths, legends, and tales from their favorite holidays. Class members will be introduced to basic acting skills including character building, stage direction, working with a script, and building ensemble. Families and friends will be invited to attend an informal performance during the final class.
 
For children ages 8-11
Friday mornings, 11:15 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.
12 week session:  September 14 - December 7, 2018 (no class on Nov. 23)

Registration Information
Discounts are available for families with more than one student enrolling in our twelve week session.  Financial aid is also available.

Dress at the Pollyanna is casual. Please come as you are most comfortable. Coming from a soccer game? Sure! bring your cleats and grass stains.
